Hi and welcome! I’m Laura, PR professional by day and the creator of Stone Tulip.
My mum and I used to make beeswax candles as Christmas and birthday gifts when I was a little girl, so to say Stone Tulip Goods started when I was 5 wouldn’t technically be a lie! The reality is far less long-term than that - my partner and I needed some tapered candles, I made some, my friends loved them, and the idea for a business was born.
A fierce advocate for supporting local makers and artists, it’s fitting that Sally (my mum!) is the designer and maker behind Stone Tulip’s hand-built clay pieces.
I live in Toronto with my brilliant artist/musician/designer wife Andy, and my passions beyond wax + clay include florals, my dog Tegan, and chocolate. In fact, here I am with some flowers!
